Having finished the 1994 ZX600 E, I thought this little 87 ZX600 A would be a great sister bike.
Bike was complete but not running. All electrical works, bike is complete but really dirty. Fairings are in good condition with no cracks or major scratches.
Starting the rebuild
Time to disassemble the bike for cleaning, valve clearance check and whatever else I find. All aluminum parts are heavily oxidized but should clean up ok. Coolant was brown.
At this point it makes sense to remove the engine completely. This will also allow me to get better access to everything else.
